Abstract:

This survey took place in 2001 in the Bum Subdivision of Boyo Division in the North West Province of Cameroon. The researchers set out to probe the question of what the Bum people need in terms of language development and translation. The findings of this research address whether the Bum people could benefit from literacy and translation currently being done in the Kom language. There are word lists from the Saff, Konene, Kimbi River, and Buabua areas.
