Lexemes refers to the conceptualizations that are formed from people’s experiences. God invites us to articulate our lexemes. In the specific case of Bible translation, the ever dynamic lexeme recognizes that the process of translation is, in itself, a powerful shared experience. It is important for communities to build experiences around the translated Word that facilitate the formation and tweaking of the relevant lexemes for understanding Scripture.
