The Esimbi Primer 1 is designed to help beginning learners in the Esimbi language who have not yet learned to read and write in any language to become literate in Esimbi. The primer introduces the letters of the Esimbi alphabet using the multi-strategy method. This method uses an analytical approach, teaching letters, syllables and words, and a global approach, which uses stories. Each of the letters of the primer carries two sub-lessons with a particular word stressing the sound of that letter.
